Exist

by Gem   Jan 8, 2007

How can you tell the rain not to fall...
When clouds exist?
How can you tell the leaves not to sway...
When the wind exists?
How can you tell the wood not to burn...
When the fire exists?
How can you tell the pen not to write...
When ink exists?
How can you tell the radio not to play...
When music exists?
How can you tell the plants not to grow...
When nature exists?
How can you tell the kids not to laugh...
When fun exists?
How can you tell the cars not to drive...
When the roads exist?
How can you tell the eraser not to erase...
When mistakes exist?
How can you tell the sun not to shine...
When the day exists?
How can you tell the people not to breathe...
When the air exists?
How can you tell me not to fall in love...
When you exist...? ©

"how could I not fall in love when you exist".
I'm looking forward to using those exact words someday to my love.
