Hands

by Espoirfailed   Jan 8, 2007

I still sometimes catch your scent
Your soothing hands
So Heaven sent.
And I sometimes risk it all
In the hope you will
Catch me fall.

But you don't even know
I'm falling.
I suppose I'm just stalling
Time
Wishing you were still mine.

I need to realise you're not waiting
Your violent hands
So suffocating
And though you never struck me
Down.
You have turned my every smile to a
Frown.

And though one day I know I'll move on
I can't believe our love is really gone.

Gah....that was brilliant. I read the rest of your poems, and added you to my favourites...just because you're that good.
