Broken Angels

by omen   Jan 19, 2007

Broken angels
Fill the night skies
With the echo
Of their tortured cries
As they suffered
From the pain
Of our choices
And our gain

Shall we praise them
The righteous ones
Who we sacrificed
For our cause
Or shall their memory
Slowly die away
Just so we can
Misuse it, another day

Will you find them
Where they dwell
In the heart of
Our forgotten hell
Gladly thrown aside
To suffer their fate
Whey they suffocate
In their hate

I hope to meet you
One of these days
To tell you my story
Of the ways
We thanked those
Who we used to survive
And all we took
Were their lives

Broken angels
Fill the night skies
With the echo
Of their tortured cries
As they suffered
From the pain
Of our choices
And our gain

Love it. I've done similiar styles in which I repeat the first stanza. Nice job, I can't read your other poem because the friendship section of the site is expired.
