Fathers Day

by disturbed one   Jan 20, 2007

I could have swore i posted this...its even more ancient then the ancient one i submitted a few days ago...this poem...i wrote for fathers day when i was 14...but waited to long to give it to my dad...so i gave it to him when i was 15...and im already 16...so...ya...its an old poem...

I love you dad

You make my life glad,
Because I know I have you for a dad,
Whenever I am down,
You change my frown,
Into a smile,
Time with you is worth-while,
A game of catch we shall play,
You always find a way to make my day,
Whether its singing tall,tall,trees,
Or talking about the birds and the bees,
Even if we are with Noah and Owen,
The fun is always a flowin\',
And theres Sue,
Shes a riot too,
I hope we are together,
Always and forever,
You make my life glad,
I love you dad
----------------------------------------
There some stuff in there people wont understand...but i will clarify a few of them...noah and owen...they r my half brothers and sue is my step mom...tall tall trees used to be me and my dads favorite song when i was little and some of it...wasnt really true b4 i wrote it...like the birds and the bees thing...i just put that cuz it rhymed...but something has happened(not really) but i think he kinda thought somethin was goin on and said somethin about it which was funny...and i dont think ive ever really been sad around him..so the part about the frown isnt ENTIRELY true...lol

Omg that's such a cute poem. You and your daddy seem close. =) And it's a good poem for a 14 year-old to write ^^
