A winter bittersweet

by Independence Forever   Jan 30, 2007

I step outside greeted by cold
i strike out, feeling a little bold

the snow hold a beauty unrivaled in other seasons
why am i going out? i must have my reasons

the snow is undisturbed save by a few prints
we must strike out to perform our next stints

it is always a pleasure going outside
just to know that indoors is a warm place to bide

near a fire with hot cocoa is our place
especially after life's long amazing race

bundle up nice and make your snow trip
i'll stay inside and take another cocoa sip
