Don't wake me up
From my own silent night
Where the moonlight is pale
And the stars shine so bright

Just let me sleep
And forget the world around
Cause in my peaceful dreams
Real things are nowhere to be found

I keep my eyes shut
Even when the sun will shine
As long as I don't see reality
Everything will be fine

Shht, don't make a sound
The stars already sing there song
This calm, beautiful rhythm
Shows me where I belong

So don't wake me up
Not with even the sweetest touch
Let me stay in this world
This world I love so much

    This is a very good poem! Sometimes I feel the exact same way, I go to sleep and get away from all my troubles and than when wake up I have to face the reality of whats going on around me. Again great poem and thank you for commenting on mine.

    When u read this poem a few times u kind of get different meanings perhaps a look at the world we live in, i dont know, but still an amazing poem, well done
