They ask me why i call myself servant

I call myself servant because i live to serve
i boldly label myself serve, I've got alot of nerve

I'm trying to say that I'll be there for you
if there's something you can't handle, i will do

i may not be much but my heart is warm
the mindset of serving, like a raging storm

you need not ask, I'll be willing to help you
but if you should then I'll say what's there to do?

i can't stand shiftless lay abouts around
they won't help, just sit there, covering ground

they may not help but you have my decree
that should you need some help then pick me

the heart of a servant, or just a willing mind
you choose, but when criticizing me, be kind
