Truth Hurts When You Cant Say I Love You

Truth Hurts When You Cant Say I Love You

We speak to each other
As if we don t know
We go on like nothing happened
Truth is it wont go

We feel it there
But those words we wont let slip
We don't want to have to bear
The burden for the next time we trip

The pain holds us close
It's all we really have left
You're still the one I trust the most
No one can fall to this depth

How tragic it must be
To be able to look into each others eyes
And all that we could see
Would always lead to another goodbye

It's more than 'it wouldn't work'
Another truth is; it would
It was the torture we put us through
Something no one else could

Its not like we meant to
It's a little thing called life
And even then I smiled when I was with you
This was love to battle though the strife

This has to be my favourite so far.
The first stanza had me hooked and while I didn't want this to end, when it did I wasn't disappointed.
The last stanza was beautiful, I found it to be very moving.
All I can say about this is that it was perfect.
