Guardian Angel

Sitting at my window
Gazing at the stars
My eyes well up slowly
As I wonder where you are

I thought you'd be here
Every step along the way
I thought that you would
Be here; forever stay

But a voice reminds me
From deep in my heart
That while we are not close
We will never truly part

For you are always here
No matter where I travel
Our love is one, time
or space cannot unravel

You are my guardian angel
You watch over me
Providing a light
With which I can see

When it gets hard
And I feel in the dark
All I have to do is
Gaze into my heart

I'll see you in there
Like you'll always be
Forevermore gently
Watching over me

    Very nicely written, I loved it.

    This line, "Be here; forever stay" I think would flow better if it went like this, "Be here; forever to stay"

    Also this line, "From deep in my heart" I think would flow better if it went like this, "From deep within my heart"

    Other than that it was beautifully written. Keep up the amazing work, you are very talented.
