HERE'S JUST A LITTLE INSIGHT..
INTO THIS WORLD OF MINE..
HERE I AM TO ASK YOU..
WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

CAUSE IN MY SOUL I KNOW IT'S RIGHT..
IN MY HEART IT'S TRUE..
I FOUND A PLACE CALLED HOME..
I FOUND IT WITHIN YOU.

I KNOW I'M NOT PRETTY..
I'M NOT A LOT OF THINGS..
ALL I KNOW IS WHEN I'M WITH YOU..
I HAVE A SET OF WINGS.

YOU HEAR WHAT I DON'T SAY..
I SEE WHAT YOU DON'T SHOW..
WE DON'T HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT..
WE ALWAYS SEEM TO KNOW.

WHEN THE PAIN RUNS DOWN MY FACE..
AND I CAN BARELY SPEAK..
ONLY YOU CAN MAKE ME LAUGH..
WIPING THE TEARS FROM MY CHEEK.

NO ONE COULD ADORE YOU BETTER..
MORE COMPLETELY OR MORE TRUE..
EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT..
FOREVER LOVING YOU.

I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE TO YOU..
FOR THE WAYS YOU MAKE ME FEEL..
WHEN YOUR HEART IS AGAINST MINE..
IT PROVES THE FEELINGS REAL.

I'M NOT ASKING FOR FOREVER..
I'M JUST ASKING FOR TODAY..
I'M NOT ASKING YOU TO LOVE ME..
I'M JUST ASKING YOU TO STAY.

I'M ASKING YOU A QUESTION..
FROM WITHIN THIS HEART OF MINE..
I'M ASKING YOU A QUESTION..

    anyways... the emotion in this poem AGAIN is wonderful.... you really let all your feelings known... wonderful choice of words.. definitly my favorite poem so far... beautiful job

    Very sweet poem indeed. It's so genuinue and real. I particularly liked how your poem interwines

    "YOU HEAR WHAT I DON'T SAY..
    I SEE WHAT YOU DON'T SHOW.."

    That's what love is ... two hearts interwined together as one, complimenting each other. Great write. Keep up the good work! 5/5
