I'm Hooked

Round and round
my head swirls
something related to
a ballerina girl

i feel like i have fallen
to the low
feeling very lonely
with no where to go

i should ask for help
but who will help the weak
i should retain from hurt
but i need my high for next week

so i will crawl
beg and plead
with my dirty needle
i will bleed

no one gets me
no one understands
i am gone
with no man

just yesterday
yes this week
i was clean
i was free

but now i am dirty
afraid and alone
now i have lost
my only home

crack head
drug addict
you smell like skunk
they will say

but i will nod
and i will say
can i please
have a dollar for the day?

    Life gets bad but you need to get off them drugs, there's always a better day tomorrow, think about the people you do have, you must have someone that cares about you
