You Need To Write Down I Love You

Just let me try to love you
Just let me try
Give me this single chance
To spread my wings and fly

Only a heart soars
So give me this chance
I wish to be yours
Just give me this last dance

Let me write down on paper
Words that say much more
Let this remind you later
Of what I was fighting for

Just give me this final day
To prove me worthy of you
I will go all the way
And as far as you want me to

I will be what you want me to be
To be just a single note
Just for you to love me
Even if I was just one line you wrote

Because one day you will see
That one line will say more than the book
You will see something in me
If you would only look

Three words easy to say
But so very hard to denote
Don’t let me walk away
