Missing

by Annabel   Mar 3, 2007

Are you missing?
Walking around in a daze,
Seeing familiar faces,
Hearing well-known names,
But remaining silent.
Surrounded by friends, yet isolated.
It comes from the shadows
And overhangs, menacingly.
You'll never be set free.
You've left it too late.
There's nothing visible,
No justification.
People cannot understand
The swamping fear of life.
When you're missing.

This made me think. this is a very clever little poem. it asked questions and answered questions at the same time.
