A lament to cbs' jericho

by Independence Forever   Mar 14, 2007

Oh Jericho, twas Americans who bombed many a city
many a good person did die that day, truly a pity

Baltimore, Washington, many were silenced then
San Diego, Denver, no one knew before then

but now you are still standing, hold off your enemy here
not just one man, but many, will draw your salvation near

brotherhood is all that will save you now
all it takes is courage, and a little know how

the bombs went off and many died
whether by radiation, or being fried

you can't take that day back, i know you wish to
and without war, peace will not be easy to sue

oh Jericho, you are a diamond among ugly coal
to make it out of this better off is your goal

yes i am a Jericho fan, i thoroughly watch it every week.
