Conflicting spirits

"why do you serve the people, they don't help you"
"because i owe everyone something, that is what i do"

"but surely you know it amounts to nothing"
"unless i do nothing, it amounts to something"

"you are pathetic, no one helps others nowadays"
"well i guess I'm the exception, i like doing it anyways"

"come on, quit, no one can blame you"
"i can't that is one thing I'll never do"

"you leave no time for yourself, you neglect your life"
"then i guess that is my choice, my future is in strife"

"one day you will fall, what then?"
"i will face that lion in it's own den"

conflicting spirits flow in my mind
but i leave the negative one behind

    Amazing poem with great meaning. Hopefully it quite resembles you. I think that anyone who looks at their glass half full instead of half empty is quite amazing.
