Overthrow of Social Heiarchies

by HuggyQueenofCookies   Mar 21, 2007

They walk our streets
and look like us
and see what we see
and feel what we feel..
And yet-
you seem to think
you are better
that just because of their backgrounds
or what side of the city
they grew up in
makes some sort of rank
in this social hierarchy
that shouldn't be there but it
creeps around whispering superstitions
in your ears
and you tremble with some
sort of anger against these human beings
who are just like yourself
except they look different talk different
dress different think different and the list goes on..
you who hate people's non-whiteness
or you who hate whites
or you who hate they love the same sex
or you who hate they don't love your God...
Why can't you just get over yourself?
Because you are no better than anyone else.

    Dear, Dear Huggy,
I am retiring from this site to focus my attention on the glorious needs of service to my family....leaving a few poems behind here as significators of Good Will to whomever may find them in future.....Been good 'knowing' you...A bit of Gramma advice here..Seek to Gently Serve, especially when sad.....By striving to honor your Higher Self in so far as possible, your Higher Self will honor you..with insight and clarity..I promise...Talk to your Guardian Angel, often, for the rest of your life..She is Always there to Help..Listen Carefullyfor her inner whispers of comfort and direction ...and....The Golden Rule is endlessly profound...for past, present, and future..'Hold it close to ya'.......
    Love, Peace, and hot-water bottles,
    Roxy....GrammaConcept
