Ride the tidal wave

by Independence Forever   Mar 24, 2007

When you sit dazed and worried
your mind and vision are flurried

the sea wall stands ready to burst
you all of a sudden feel cursed

when the wall breaks, will you ride the wave?
take on all challenges, and dare to save?

once you make your fateful decision, ride the tide
face the consequences of your decision, you can't hide

weigh your decisions quickly, you have little time
this lesson is more than just life's long rhyme

brave the storm, ride your tidal wave until it is finally out
and you'll stand more than a little chance in life's bout

I like the use of 'tidal wave' but I guess the flow seems a little off to me. Interesting way of making the couplets a little longer with each stanza though I admit the last stands out to me. It is an interesting write.
