Departing Love

To the depths of my desire
trapped and coiled in your wire
barbed and bare, cut around
trapped inside your little town,

Do you care to hear my thoughts
will you keep the things I've bought
do not drive off from my house
you don't know what I'm about,

Don't run from your fears
Don't act like you don't hear
come and let me hold you tight
never letting go with all my might,

You won't kill yourself
while I'm offering my help
showing you the path to take
keeping you from one last break,

I'll take away your pain
I won't leave your mind in vein
body won't be torn apart
I've cherished it from the start,

Will you lay down to sleep
falling softly next to me
do you beleive in me enough
give me another chance to trust,

All I want to share with you
is our memories, old and new
take my hand, grab my wrist
seal our fate with a kiss.

    I think that this poems was written to be beautifully sad, I loved the emotion flowing throughout it i did find some parts to be a little forced but not enough to throw me off the poem which is great. Well done ~mel

    This had a beaultiful flow and rhyme scheme. twas fabulous!

    the only error:

    I won't leave your mind in vein

    it's vain. vein is like the artery or w/e.
