Old pain

Once upon a time I was
Passing near the grave yard
I heard aching hearted voice
I do not know who was
she? under the grave
but I know why she was crying?
that was the old pain of
past love that she suffered..

    Again the grammer was off in this, which made it difficult to read fluently, and understand completely.
    Can I ask why "an" is capitalised on the third line ?
    It was an emotional and saddening write though. Thanks for sharing.
