Torn and Broken

It's been such a long time
since you left my life.
But still you're inside me
invading my mind.

I try to release you
forgive and forget.
In order to fill up
this hole in my chest

But still you remain there,
all efforts in vain.
Feeding the fire,
you brought me this pain.

It tears my interior,
kills me inside.
Corrupts my spirit,
and throws it aside.

Do you care?
Do you know?
