A Beautiful Nostalgia

by Sarah Ann   Apr 6, 2007

I dig my toes into the sand
The breeze flows gently through my hair
And I can't help but feel him there
As I sink gently in the past.

We both enjoy the scenery
I lean against the calming sea
The Ocean looks like a thousand diamonds
Strewn across the bluest blanket

I remember sleeping on his lap
Drawing hearts with our fingertips
And I pretend I am weightless
In this cruel and burdened world

Even the beauty in his eyes beats the sunset
I wouldn't take my eyes of him
Basking myself in pleasurable sin
This memory won't fade.
