One Cold Rainy Night

by ben thompson   Apr 8, 2007

Passion Consumes me
Emit fire from my eyes
Gave you my trust
It was returned with lies

Dreams unfairly stolen
Commitment lost with a glance
My life long fulfillment
Gone with one dance

Friends intentions concealed
Filled with malice and spite
Heart broken and injured
One cold rainy night

Vengeance clear and direct
My blade will speak forth
Two lives will be lost
I hold my own court

Treason's will be punished
In this life and the next
Just like what befell me
Neither shall expect

My wrath will spill over
The end is within sight
My heart shall be healed
One cold rainy night

Amazing. Your words leave a haunting picture in my mind; as you write them in a beautifully emotional style.
Each stanza was an excellent flow, excellent job.
