Mom

You don't know me,
I don't know you.
You think you know me,
but you don't even have a clue.

You were once my hero,
but now you're my zero.
When I was little,
you always told me I was beautiful.
Now you say I'm ugly,
you say you hate me.

You're the main reason,
for all my fallen tears.
You're the main reason,
for all the cuts on my wrists.
You've seen all my scars,
but you just ignored all my written pain.
Mom, you're the main reason why my heart aches.

That night my heart was ripped in half,
you heard all of my screams,
you heard all my painful cries.
You heard me run into the kitchen,
you knew I took the butcher knife.

You knew I hurt myself,
you knew I cut and burned.
I was in need of your love,
but you turned your back on me.
Would you care if I ended it all tonight?

We always argue now,
we can't stand to see each others face.
Oh, how did it all go so wrong?
Your love use to mean everything to me.

You wonder why dad left us,
you blame it all on me.
I'll tell you why though,
it's because of you.
He saw the witch within,
it's because you treated me different from the rest.
Daddy knew what you did to me..
he saw the claw marks on my arms,
the red marks on my neck,
the bruises on my legs.
He saw everything.

You succeeded in ruining my life,
so I'll ruin yours next.
I guess you'll never find out who I truly am,
even though I know you don't want to.
You'll never see my smile when I'm saying,"I do.",
you'll never see my own children running around the house.
Goodbye mom,
because I'm sick of you.
