That Delightful Frustration

That Delightful Frustration

I try and I try
I've cried and I've cried
All my efforts put to waste
Look at all these battles I have faced
Yet I live on and I hold on
I will not stop 'till I have won
I try not to burst
In this frustration and curse
I pull on my hair
So much pain to bear
I've screamed and I've yelled
Living the life we call hell
I've shivered in this cold
My soul has been sold
Yet I was the one to be blamed
But when you return it will be reclaimed
You own me
I have already been set free
You are my dream
With you I no longer have to scream
The tears washed away
But; I still have to live today
Looking on the bright side
All I have to do is hide
That sorrow of not being with you
I know we will see this through
Because there is that light above
That comes from the heart when people love.
