You Never Saved Me

by xoxShorteexox   Apr 16, 2007

She lays in her bed,
wide awake.
She just wanted,
him to save her.
He never really did,
he was always gone.
As he walked by her,
with his other girlfriend.
She looked at him,
and said, "You never saved me."
He just turned away,
and she never seen him again.
After a month,
she grew weaker than ever.
She got her rope set,
for her hanging.
She wrote down,
"you never saved me."
The moment she kicked that,
stool out from under her feet.
He walked in,
and grabbed her.
She looked at him,
and he said, "I've saved you now."

    Awh.
It was sad but then the ending was so sudden.
    Really made it powerful.
    I love this poem.
