Gods test

A life of dreams and love,
Thanking god for sending me an angel from above.

My baby girl is with me in my heart,
I know when she gets big shes gonna be smart.

No doubt about it,
i know what i did,
I had me a beautiful kid.

i wont go wrong by her,
For that fact i swear.
I will be here when she needs me,
to put her in harms way i wouldn't dare.

I will set aside my life to take care of you.
This life is hard,
But i promise to help you make it through.

A bag of diapers,
And more wipes,
And i cant forget.. to buy you those night lights.

I love you baby and i will do my best,
to help you through this tough life,
Soon enough you will be put to gods test.

    This is really good...its sweet...but the flow wasnt that great...and your form wasnt really working..first it was two lines..then two lines again..and then three...and it kinda threw the poem off a little.

    Beautiful write!it was cute...it portrayed the feelings towards a child in a successful manner..though the flow was li'l off...the poem was cute...5/5!

    Raising a child alone is hard I agree but as for that being the main subject driving the poem the title was abit misleading just a thought Plot121
