Day after day.

Day after day, I stood by your side,
Healing the wounds you had chosen to hide,
Preventing the flow of your bittersweet tears,
Keeping you safe throughout many years.
Day after day, I fixed your mistakes,
Guiding you away from a world full of fakes,
Giving you the chance to live out your dreams,
But you re-payed with anger, so it seems.

Day after day, You perfected your style,
Craving attention for just a little while,
Vanity controlled you, Wounds grew deep,
Surrounded by friends you failed to keep.
Day after day, You pushed me to the floor,
Constantly reminding me our friendship was no more,
Replacing me with drugs and flasks of alcohol,
From a distance I broke, As you repeatedly did fall.

Day after day, I miss you even more,
Knowing we will never be as we were before.

    Nah.. u dont need to change a thing! it was really touching aye.. your really talented! its like a poem we can relate to... .but the way the words n rhymes flow, shows real meaning n makes me feel empathetic...
