Secrey of the wildlife

by Abena   Apr 24, 2007

The sun lit the sky for the last few seconds before it set. The sky was clear with not a cloud in sight. The red and orange sky started to fade to black, as the sun finally dipped to the bottom of the sky and the moon rised above the tall trees of the forest.

The full moon shone high in the sky lighting the path through the woods. The stars twinkled against their dark blue background making the sky look as if it was full of diamonds.

The wind blew hard disturbing the calmness of the forest. Leaves twirled in the air and the small bushes rustled. The trees towered over everything creating darkness. The leaves crunched beneath the tiny feet of the wild squirrels and foxes. The birds became silent as they flew to their nests in their high tress to settle into their own made home.
