Reformatted is her mind
Her memories Deleted, gone, erased

Deleted are so many
things that gave her joy

Things that brought her
peace and purpose
energy and health
are deleted, erased.

Can they be retrieved?
Or will undelete not work?

And where on Earth did we
put the back-up disk?

So much data lost
to the cruel whims of fate

So very much
that can not be replaced

So much life erased
