Two Bows, Three Rubber Bands, One Heart [Double Nove Otto]

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   May 5, 2007

Four a.m. and she lays restlessly,
A heart beating sorrows to me,
Her eyes twitch, as she softly breathes,
And she tosses and turns, dreaming -
Of Oceans and waves, sun beaming,
But her flawless smile, it deceives,
Because in her mind, he stands there,
And to her chestnut eyes, he stares,
With a sigh, he turns and he leaves -

Her heart, it breaks in agony,
For I know, she just wants to be,
The girl, with the stars in her eyes,
That he talks about with a smile,
And she may laugh, but all the while
The stories in her eyes tell lies,
A tear falls, as she breaks apart
With two bows, three rubber bands, one heart,
And a tear for every good-bye.
