Nobody to take my hand

Nobody to take my hand

Surround my world
And cloud me.
I want a vision that is blurry.

I need to wake up far from home,
And realise that I'm not alone.
So I'm searching for a place,
But still looking for the map.
I need a familiar face.

Not just that old chap
that sits in his car.
Not going very far,
I'm not sure if he's asleep,
But his world is dull and bleak.

I don't want my tomorrows
to run into my sorrows. Like his.
So breathe in that deadly kiss.
And I'd run for miles,
If I thought someone would miss
me.

But I know how to fake smile,
And I can make it worth your while.
I've become a persona,
And I'm kipping on mate's sofas.
Unless they're rich,
Then I'll end up in their bed,
Their grunts stay in my head.

Emblaze that love, for a second.
Yeah I know it's lust, for a minute.
But I charge by the hour.
So you might as well make it worth your time,
Because it's never worth mine.

Oh yeah this job is fine...

With no one to hold my hand
I know I'm alone in this land.
I stare out the window and fields seem bland,
But who am I to understand.
I take money for your demands,
And wake up
With no one to hold my hand.

This was a sad poem and I hope that you'll find someone to hold your hand even if this is not true. The flow was quite good even though the stanzas weren't all the same. Great job 4/5
