Every time we talk
inside something stirs
old feelings surface
everything else, a colourful blur

The love we had
seems so long ago
but its only been a few months
since you let my heart go

We've both moved on now
but were still great friends
but its hard to let go
will my heart ever mend?

You mention her name
it cuts through me like a knife
i try to act normal
but i want to end this life

I know i got a guy
and i love him so much
hes as sweet as can be
but i still long for your touch

No one in this life
can ever compare
to how perfect you are
and the love that we shared

So tell me now
do you feel the same way
was hard to let go of me
when we talk every day?

hits me hard
