Lifeless

Falling in a void;
An abyss of anguish,
The bottom screams pain;
The answer to my wish.

Deeper I fall
Into my destiny,
Betrayal and loneliness
Whisper endlessly.

I dig my grave
In a lonely valley,
I'm pulled by force,
the haunted call me.

The suicide I face
Jumping off the calling ledge
Is sweet serenity
To my life's angry menace.

The cold shouts of hate
Have cracked my crystal heart.
A single soft touch,
And I'm threatened to fall to shards.

The tears I bear
Fall crimson regret.
I float lifelessly
In my river of red.

I'm falling to my doom,
But I welcome my fate.
I smile once in peace,
My life already drained...
