Pure bliss

It is all those little things,
that make you who you are,
it is that goofy laugh and gorgeous eyes
and your obsession with your car.

It is in your lips when you kiss me
in your eyes when you say goodbye,
it was in your heart that night
when you realized you made me cry.

It is the way you call me beautiful
and make it sound so real
the way you touch my body
you have no idea how intense it feels.

Everything you do boy
brings me closer and closer to you,
but still I question what will come
still confused on what to do.

I could never bear the burden
of losing you as a friend,
to me that would be the greatest loss
it would be the beginning of the end.

Baby love is so confusing
and it is not meant for me,
but god some days I truly think
that we are meant to be.

So when I hold you in my arms tonight,
and you bless me with a kiss,
I will shadow out my fears and remember
that love is blind
and ignorance, pure bliss.

    Wow I loved this poem. There wasnt anything that I didnt like about it. My favorite part was how you managed to personalize it while still making it vague enough for other people to relate to. I loved the last two lines, managing to take a common phrase and turn it into a magical line of the poem is true tallent. Nice work, I loved this.

    Beautifully written poem holding strong emotions throughout the entire thing enjoyed the flow and the ryhme scheme was great. The vocab was simple but yet really strong. Well done on a nicely written piece of poetry~mel
