Mom...Happy Mom's Day

by aisyned   May 12, 2007

Blonde long beautiful hair,
Eyes that shine like crystals in the light,
Mom it is time to say,
I think you are all right,
You are always going to be there,
When im hurt or in pain,
You will always have a tissue,
To wipe away every tear stain,

Sometimes I know I do not treat you right,
Or really show how much I care,
But trust me when I say this,
I’d be a wreck if you weren’t there,
You always put others first,
And not a lot do the same back,
I have seen it before,
That is a fact,

I know I mouth off a lot,
And say things that a cruel,
But I also know,
That without you I would not be in this world,
Your personality is rare,
Funny, loving, gentle, and honest,
You have a beautiful way of showing you care,

I love you with my whole heart,
Even if I don’t show it,
But even though I don’t,
I hope you still know it,
You are always right,
You point me in the ways im supposed to go,
So when im in a soggy position,
I would think what would you do then I know,

So I hear today is the day,
That I am supposed to compliment you and such,
But how can one simple day,
Prove that much,
I love you more then I could show you in a day,
It would take my whole life just to make up all you’ve done,
To show how bright you are,
It would burn out the sun,

You are the mom a lot wish they had,
And sometimes I don’t take credit for it,
But deep in my heart,
I must admit I know it,
Your like the rain,
A lullaby that knowing your hear helps me sleep at night,
You keep me out of the dark,
By being my light,

I owe you so much,
For every thing you’ve done for me,
If I put it all into water,
It’d flood the world you see,
Mom I love you more then any one ever will,
And that’s what I am trying to say,
It’s what I think every day,
But im letting you know because well…. It’s mothers day,

So have a lazy one,
Which I know that probably won’t happen,
Cause you won’t get to rest,
Until the very end,
But try anyway,
That’s all I have to say,
Oh and one more thing,
HAVE A WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY!!!
