I Fall Apart

Hours I spend in the darkness -
Weeping unseen tears
Submitting to morbid fears

My heart is entwined by thorns
To keep from falling apart.
I invite their piercing pain
The pain being all I feel
No hate, no love, no joy -
Just the pain in my heart

I wait for the Silence to still my heart
I wait for the Creatures of the Dark
With them I shall ride, into the black night sky
With them I shall fly, and no more be a thorn in your eye

Into the night sky we ride,
The Creatures of the Dark and I - side by side
With them, I shall not hide
With them, there shall be no guise
With them, nothing shall be withheld
With them, I shall blend

Through gardens of black roses I walk -
Crimson I bleed
Sweet necrosis I need

I let the rain silence my pain
I let the fear hold me near
They lead me to flowing death
They lead me to the River of Death

The River, it tempts me
Seduced by the waves kissing my feet
I no longer wish to be breathe
All I seek is sweet release
All I seek is the peace of the deceased

Let me haunt the graveyard of broken dreams
In whispers of dreams I feel at ease

The River embraces me,
Sweet release is mine
I wait for the silence to still my heart
In the arms of the River, I fall apart
