Without a Fear That You Will Leave

In your arms I feel so safe,
-- It seems like I could drift away.
I never want to leave your grasp,
'cause who knows if you will come back?

I listen to your heartbeat
as it beats soft, within your chest.
I never want to let you go
-- We won't be put to rest.

Nothing could pull us apart
-- at least, beneath your shade.
Here I am, forever;
I won't let this slip away.

I never want my eyes to blink
-- this life is way too short.
I never want to miss a moment;
Each moment means more and more.

Each movement skips my heart one beat
-- It makes me think that you will leave.
I close my eyes and hold my breath
and then, with hope, I open them.

(And to my discontent, you're gone.
You never even fell in love.
You felt quite fit to play your games
-- I don't think I will love again.)

Do you think that's what took place?
I hope your head's held in disgrace!
How dare you ever NEAR believe
that my love could have fooled with me!

{To my comfort, here you are.
I lay upon your beating heart
and slowly, I begin to sleep
Without A Fear that You Will Leave.}

    Once again you leave me speechless. Your poetry is of the utmost level of superiority. This is yet another one that just goes right to your heart and soul. It makes you think not only of love but of heartbreak. It makes you try your best to grasp the severe tradgedy that is unfolding upon your withered soul..yet it makes you see the beauty of the love which surrounds you. Your poem ejects such impecable emotion and passion that it makes you want nothing more than to possess that sort of way. Such emotion that i was able to draw from this poem...a rare thing to find. When i read your poem...i feel a strange thing, i feel content. The love that is in this poem is immense and makes me almost sad in a way. You have impecable talent and i know that you will go far. I wish only that i could say more about this poem...but i am left practically speechless. Do not give up on the art of literature...it is your calling clearly. I shall give you yet another 5/5!

    Awww...it's beautiful...i love it...i'm jealous because i wish i'd wrote it :)....It makes me wish i had someone like that....absolutely beautiful...that's all i can think to say...thank you for writing such a beautiful poem...it cheered me up when i was kinda blue...
