No Longer Invisible

She hardly sleeps a wink; it's too painful
and wakes up in a broken state; crushed,
she cried another night again; tears of sadness,
the nightmares are getting worse; worse than ever.

She's a wreck of the heart; a disaster of the mind,
she's fading into your memory; your fartherest thought,
she's unending dream that is out of reach; just a too far,
and a broken heart that is unmendable; unfixable forever.

She writes away her pain; her miserable life on a sheet of paper,
or so she believes that's what's she's doing; free of everything,
she's trying to prove more than a pretty face; more than you believe,
she's wide awake tonight with unreachable dreams; untouchable dreams,

She's wishing for a better day; one loving day that will last forever,
she's a broken girl; a lost soul with tainted bruises and scars,
she's more than she appears; doesn't appear to be much,
she was a willingly heart; gave it all up forever for this last blow.

She's slicing into her arm for the last time; beauty marks,
lines of beauty and pain for it all; cutting away the skin,
this line will be her last; her finally pain and beauty mark,
as this blade slices her wrist; she's no longer invisible.
