Your Song

by Kirsty palmer   Jul 2, 2007

Sitting there with you holding me near
The hairs on the back of my neck began to rise
Singing me the song I will now always love to hear
Looking deep into your loving eyes

The voice of an angel is what you possess
A voice that is so deep and yet so warm
Its so soothing it smothers me with happiness
So calming it could halt any storm

How do you get it to sooth me so?
What is it that made it so unique?
It's that kind of thing which I love you to show
It's that kind of thing that makes my knees go weak

Each word that you sung for me
Was meaningful and happy too
It gave me a life time guarantee
To know that you will always be you

As time goes on my only hope
Is that you now know that I love you just as much
Because without you I wouldnt to cope
I would always long for your delicate touch

Speechless was what I was afterwards
and when the song was over
My kiss was your deserved reward
...Me as your four leaf clover
