I miss those nights, I miss those days.

Lights turning on in Newborn,
we're all headed out for the night.
Baby, you know what I'm talking about,
we use to do it every night.
And, when the sun came up we'd run
down to the lot where we stayed.
We'd cuddle for the afternoon,
repeat the steps when out came the moon.

The smiles and laughter it brought
never seem to run out of thought.
Personification of the street lights,
were yelling " awake for the night."
Baby, I miss those days.. I miss those nights.
And, pardon my random thoughts of you,
they come and go just like you use to.

But, oh baby I'm moving on
down to the old warehouse.
The lot don't fit me now,
oh, somehow...
These nights I'm wasting away
are slowly turning and fading away.

And, I miss those nights.
I miss those days.
Baby, oh some how..
They don't fit me now.

    Thats true eventually we grow out of every thing, well not every thing.
    where's Newborn by the way?
    I liked it- but what was 'they come and go just like you used to' about?

    I really liked it alot, there
    was a lot emoiton
    coursing through
    all of this
    and the rhyming was ok
    but at a part or two
    the rhyming seemed
    a little forced
    but it flowed
    well

    the last time I read your work.
    Well, I missed out on a lot I can see.
    This poem was dripping with emotions..
    I loved every single word.
    I don't think I can possibly even begin..
    to tell you what I disliked..
    there isn't anything that I didn't like.
