Pain is a reminder that im alive
especially when im numb and afraid
pain allows me to strive
for something better;change
Pain lets me know God has still left me here
and that I am stuck in this hell
pain is a reminder as blinding as fear
that nothing is going well
Pain gives me pleasure, like when i cut
it releases me from emotional stress
and ironicaly pain is nothing but
a reminder of things i repress
Pain takes me to another place
at least when im emotionally sore
and when i feel i need my space
pain gives me that and much more
Pain is my very best friend
assuring me that i might still exist
and when i feel my life must end
pain releases me so im not anxious
Pain is to me one of Gods greatest gift
keeping me from dieing away
pain allows me to feel the bliss
of dieing slower every day
