My heart

The road to my heart
leads nowhere
only down a path of misery
my soul is broken
and my heart is turning black
my heart has always told my story
so here's how it begins(2x)

It all began with his words
it all began with his touch
the way his voice could control me
and make me feel overtaken
but now I'm just broken

I'm getting frustrated
and now my eyes are pouring out tears
i swore I'd never cry
but i guess it's my own fault
I'm being overtaken
by this inner me

all the hatred
all the pain
I've ever felt in my life
overwhelms me
now I'm crying out to you
take me away
