You Were My Everything

by xoxShorteexox   Jul 8, 2007

You were my knight in shining armor,
the protector of my heart and soul,
you turned out to be a fool in tin foil,
the breaker of my everything I cared for.

You were my better half; the good half,
the one who'd make tears into laughter,
you turned out to be the killer of my smiles,
the king of all liars, cheaters, and heartbreakers.

You were the best thing to me; the nicest person,
the one that made me smile real smiles; great smiles,
you turned out to be nothing more than another jerk,
the most pitful excuse for a man I've ever met.
