Arrogance And Ignorance

by xoxShorteexox   Jul 16, 2007

You're whispering those lies again,
get yourself already, darling,
the spotlight isn't always on you,
let your arrogant ways die down,
for a second think of someone,
other than yourself, honey.

You're ignorance was always a bliss,
lay your insecurities across your face again,
your arrogance is getting the best of you,
stop with the dramatic scene, doll,
we all already know you're a liar,
so cover up those insecurities up again.

Your friends are sweating from your arrogance,
your ways are making the room temperature raise,
your ignorance is getting most annoying,
please tone down the deaf tones of stupidity, sweetie,
no one is in love with you, but the mirror you staring in,
now get over yourself; the truth is already showing through, babe.

Clear up the arrogant air of your perfumed feelings,
drop the ignorance, it's not becoming of a young lady, sweetheart,
act your age not your shoe size; get a maturity level,
the IQ of a box of rocks isn't impressing anyone, but your mirror,
deal with the consequences of your arrogant acts and performances,
get over your mirror reflection and care about something other than yourself, love.
