Metaphoric Love

by Love Fallacy   Jul 29, 2007

Ice cream skies, with clouds of pearls,
The sun it bares your name.
Always shining down on me,
Some day we'll meet again.

Melting cubes, under sheets of glass,
Your reflection always shows.
Your scent forever lingers,
In a bud of a new born rose.

Seasons pass at the move of a hand,
As time it tells no lie.
Count my rings and know my age,
Soon I'll join you in the sky.

Liquid beads of laughter,
Pool up around my toes.
My visions coming clearer,
As my eyes begin to close.

The trees are made with ivory bark,
The grass made of gold.
Your beauty greater than all of that,
And the greatest story ever told.

I loved this poem more than your other one. You capitolized the first letter of every line. Just how I wanted you to do it with the other poem. Another excellent write. Short but yet written pretty well. 5/5.
