I'm losing everything I fought to gain
So I turn to razors to extinguish my pain
Call me crazy, call me insane
But you don't know what it's like to spend each day
Trying to keep your pain at bay

I've tried to stop but always fail
My life is just a crimson veil
When life gets tough
My blood calms me down
As I watch it drip to the ground

Anger and agony, misery and pain
Cuts and gashes keep me sane
On my wrists and on my thighs
Keeps me from telling this world goodbye

Some drink and some pop pills
I chose the razors but they're all gonna kill
Present and past
The pain continues to last
But I hide my scars and wear a cheerful mask

Don't judge and don't decide
That just because I bleed I want to die
That's not the case
It just isn't true
