Unwritten [Rondeau]

Unwritten was the script into my naive heart,
It was anyone`s game, but you took on the part;
And I must admit, you did do your job well,
You stuck by my side through all the pain and hell.
.................... [Through everything, it was us].

And Baby, you got the looks but you`re not smart;
Because now we`re broken and drifting apart,
.................... [Fall back into me].

You got an iron-clad grip on my young heart,
And You`re begging me to grant you a new start,
`Cuz you know you were there for me when I fell,
And you use that against me, thinking it does you well;
[You always had a way of winning my heart.]
.................... [Fall back into me].

A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short - a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).
