Six Thousand Miles Away

by Sarah Ann   Aug 13, 2007

That sweet summer night we bade farewell
For how long, only time can tell...
But I can still taste your mint like kiss
Lingering upon my lips
My world comes quickly to a pause
No one knows why, it just does
Silence...Driving me insane
I see your face fading away
Our love belongs to yesterday...
Our love belongs to yesterday
Of faded hope and broken hearts
Six thousand miles far apart

[[I wrote this on the airplane coming back from vacation...its really nothing much.]]

    Holy.
    I can TOTALLY relate.
But you said it so poetically...
    It was magnificantly beautiful.
    Awesome piece.
You should enter it into a competition or something!
