She Will Be Free(Haiku)

by Michelle18   Aug 20, 2007

A lovely young bird,
Sings a very happy song.
Sings it all day long.

She sings for freedom,
The freedom to fly away.
And there she will stay.

She will be long gone,
She will be out of her nest.
And fly with the rest.

Soaring through the sky,
The wind through her short feathers.
Thirsty for weather.

But she is too young,
For now she only has dreams.
Wont be long it seems.

'Til she's on her own,
And be who she wants to be.
Yes! she will be free!

I really enjoyed this stringed Haiku it was quite good, although I thought Hakiu's had unrhymed lines that is the only thing to me which seemed wrong, although I may also be wrong so forgive me if I am. Overall this piece deserves a 5/5. Well done. ~mel
