Torn

by Fireflower   Apr 29, 2004

Dagger stabs into his heart.
He told her he loved her at the start.

Then he started to hit her, break her down.
Now he's won the prize, here is his crown.

Torn and raped throughout the years,
Now he's dead, and she cries no tears.

He tried to beat her, with a brick filled sack.
Didn't see the dagger, hiding behind her back.

Pierced his heart, as he came around wide,
Then she laughed and smiled as he died.

Oh how she loved him when they first met,
Then he abused her, made her his pet.

Now she takes the dagger, from his heart,
The thing he stole at the start.

Now the stolen heart, she takes back,
Walks away, no longer held to lack.
